We often see this concept used in books and movies for little ones. Think of just about any Pixar movie you've ever seen and you'll find an example of anthropomorphism. Talking cars, toys, rats, fish - do I need to go on? (My fav Pixar flick is Toy Story 1, though 2 and 3 are close behind and I cry whenever I watch them. Don't look at me like that!)
It's pretty obvious that the Veggie Folk characters are in line with this concept. Unless the vegetables you eat often have faces, in which case you may want to contact the authorities about a possible bio hazard spill in your area.
Currently, my biggest anthropomorphic crush is on Cuddly Rigor Mortis.
Kristin Tercek is the talented mastermind behind these fabulous pieces of art. Her designs are sold as prints, plaques, and cards.
While this certainly doesn't apply to all of her works, my favorites are the pieces that combine cute characters in morbid situations. Like this poor guy.
Don't worry, she has plenty of other designs that are just plain adorable.
If these were real, I would want several hundred of them for pets.
You can find Cuddly Rigor Mortis items for sale here, here, here, and here. And Kristin's main website is here.
